Join Ione Harrison this October for this half day Loose Watercolours Workshop painting an Autumn Forest!

This watercolour workshop is suitable for you whether you have some experience of watercolour and would like to explore new techniques, or a total beginner. Minimal drawing required! The emphasis of the workshop is very much on play and experimentation. After a time to have a play with colour and techniques, you’ll be guided step by step to create your atmospheric painting. You'll explore some fantastic and fun techniques (cling film, salt and spatter) to create wonderful textures, as well as practising more traditional washes and wet on wet painting.

When booking, you can include tickets for entry to the gardens at a discounted rate of £10 for adults and £4.50 for under 16s. The usual price is £12.50 for adults and £6 for children.

Guided Garden Walk with Head Gardener: Late Summer Colour. Thursday 11th September 2025, 11am-12:30pm

Find out how to garden design the Breezy Knees way. Take a guided walk around the gardens with co-owner and co-creator, Colin Parker, as he talks about the origins of the gardens and what he’s learnt over the years. Tickets include Garden Entry, so feel free to peruse the borders at your leisure after the talk.

During this walk, you'll stroll along the blossom walk, wander past the Iris's and into the May garden as we fill you in on how to add some early summer colour to your borders. Our gardens are designed to have colour over the 5 months we're open, so if you're looking for tips on how to extend colour in your borders throughout the summer, this walk is for you!
